Chemists are responsible for conducting studies carried out by the Chemistry Department under the supervision of a senior chemist.
Responsibilities Include:
- use and maintenance of equipment
- preparation of solutions
- carrying out various phases of analysis, recording and calculation of data
- carrying out all phases of an analytical method and performing method development/validation work
- preparation of tables and text for analytical reports
Requirements:
A BA/AS in Chemistry is required, as well as a willingness to learn and an interest in the field of research. Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
